    Share windowsxp and access in mac
    Hi all,

    Kindly let me know how to share a folder in xp and access from mac. I tried everything but nothing is working out.:confused:

    That's OK. You need to click on the "permissions" button to set the sharing for the other computer "over the network". See:

    Here's another option for you (and others visiting this thread): get a Dropbox account and install on both your Mac and your XP machine. A shared folder will appear on each and will be synched via the internet. You can get a free account with 2Gb of storage so if you're talking about needing <2Gb free can't be beat. :)
