Saw this on TV late at night maybe 20 years or more ago and would have to have been BBC, ITV or C4 as had no other in those days - no idea of title or who is in it - definitely British and in colour - almost certainly a cinema film but just possible it was a TV film but I doubt it as too explicit
Opens with some sort of either imminent or post disaster - starts in the south east - could have been London - food is scarce and militia are running the country - law and order have largely broken down. A man and his family are trying to escape out of the south-east through road blocks etc to reach his brother who has some sort of remote stronghold in the wilds of Scotland and the film is of their journey - not sure who is in the family, Dad and a gorgeous teenage daughter for certain - I think a son as well. The bit I remember is they come to a road block, back up and try a way round but get captured and these yobos try to rape the girl - and we do see a lot of her as it's pouring with rain - somehow they get away and they do make it in the end - terrific film - never seen it since .
