How much grout do I need to buy?
We're going to tile the counter and I was looking for a way to find out how much grout I'm going to need to buy. The counter is about 38 square feet minus the cooktop and the sink. And the tiles we bought are 8". I guess I should mention that we are also going to cut tiles in half for the back splash so we will need to grout there too. Any help is appreciated!

    Thanks guys!

If you go to Lowe's, you can buy premixed grout or the powder that you mix with water. ONE powder bag will be more than enough. You probably won't even use HALF of it. I used half a bag to tile about 40 square feet and I used 1/4" spacers for our 12" tiles. Hope this helps!

Do you know what size bag though? I was looking online and saw they came in different sizes.

    Thanks!

I don't like the color of the grout on my bathroom floors. The grout line is 1/4" wide. If I were to have it changed to a different color from dark grey to white: (1) would the grey still show through (2) would it mean that some of the tiles may break (I don't have any more of those tiles) (3)...

Hello, I am looking for a really flexible grout for my kitchen floor. I have heard about urethane grout, but I cannot locate a dealer in The Netherlands or France. Any help where I can obtain this material? Or would there be another suitable material? Greetings, Fons
