Celebrities have more rights?
Hello everyone! Im not quite sure if a lot of people now but female TV host, ellen (unknown) married another lady. I do not care that she chose to do this, as a persons choice will lead them on an adventorous life journey for good or bad. But what I don't like is the fact that celebrities get better rights than us everyday people. I believe that if someone wants to marry the same sex let them! Why do we have a law stating its illegal and yet you have celebrities are allowed. Im not ganging up on ellen but what I want to know is why everyone loves seeing her with this lady, and yet when you see two ladies on the street holding hands people look at them with disgust? Why can't we all have the same rights?

In California same sex marriage is allowed. It's not just celebrities, anyone can. However you or I wouldn't get media attention.
Where I live two ladies can hold hands and not be looked at with disgust.

Well I wouldn't mind living were you live. Not many people like gay marriage and because I'm a christian, people think that ill use The Word against them and tell them how they'll burn in hell and how much God hates them *blah blah* but that's what some christians believe in- I believe in people choosing what they want to chose in. Hmmmm

Christians can use their faith to live their lives their way and raise their families accordingly but they shouldn't pass judgement on others.

Dude, no offense but your spelling sucks. We don't use text message spelling here, you have a full keyboard, please use it.

Yeah well I'm tired, I'm on my phone and it takes 10 times longer to text in every letter of a word so if you don't like my spelling then don't read my posts. As simple as that

Actually text speak or chat language is no to be used here and can result in posts being deleted
Use the best English you are capable of. "Chat speak", all caps, lack of punctuation, etc. can be annoying, and will frequently result in the post being either unanswered or removed.

Nope, I don't type on the phone, I type on a keyboard. And the rules of the site specifically state that chat speak or text message is prohibited.
