    Stamping forchange my status from /B1B2 to F1 when I am in US?
    Hi,

    I have a valid B1/B2 visa and In the meanwhile iapplied for change of status to F1and my F1 petition is approved but I don't know the next procedure for stamping. Can anyone guide me if I could change my status from /B1B2 to F1 when I am in US? If so what is the procedure and how long does it take?

    No visa stamping.. this is not H-1B. You will receive a new I-94 which must be accompanied with I-20.

    If you leave US, you must apply for F-1 and have your passport stamped or you won't be able to return.
