    Percentage issue
    I need to find the percentage of 111617402 divided by 48451 or at least I think it's the way to do it. I tried it and got .043%

    I think you have it upside down. 111617402 divided by 48451 is 2303.171. Express this as a percent and you get 230317.1%. If what you meant to write is "48451 divided by 111617402", then you would be correct.

    Hello Desiree

    Just a quick idea on HOW to do that :

    Take two numbers (let's take 50 and 10)

    Divide 50 by 10 = 5 ----> divide 100 (percent) by that result (=5) ----> = 20%
    Divide 10 by 50 = 0,2 --> divide 100 (percent) by that result (=0,2) --> = 500%

    ---

    Now just do the same in your calculation (divide 111617402 by 48451) :

    Divide 111617402 by 48451 = 2304 ----> divide 100 by 2304 = 0,043%
