    Amana not producing ice
    My amana freezer is stilll working but the ice maker stopped producing ice after the electricy came back, I washed the ice bucket when it came back. The ice maker is in the on position.

    ahsnmnv4 - One thing I don't think you have checked yet , At the very back there is a water inlet that water comes in to fill the I've maker tray up . I have seen this water inlet freeze up solid with ICE,and NO water will get threw until you take a hair dryerand use it to melt the ice. There was probably some air in the line ( WATER ) ehen it first came back on and it froze the line at water inlet. If it is not this then it will probably be the water inlet valve it self that has gone out and will have to be replacedHave a good day and GOD BLESS :: F.B.E.
