    Leaking cutt off
Hello all... I have a leak from the hot water supply under my sink. It is leaking from the (forgive me) the thing that attachs to the pipe.. I guess the cut off... anyway.I have removed the cut off... cleaned the treads on the pipe and reapplied tape.. it leaked.. removed it again and applied pipe dope.. it leaks... and various other combonations all to no avail... still a drip leak persists.. my question.. what can I do short of replacing the gal. supply pipe.. and believe me I thought aboit it and tried to loosen it... but it is in there and I don't want to possibly cause more damage.. any ideas etc whould be appericated.. also.. I cleaned the pipe again etc and used a new cut off and still drips... thanks
