    Plumbing shower head
Cannot turn on shower, shower is turned on by pulling down head of spigot. When I pull down head I can hear slight sucking sound. Is there an adjustment in head of spigot?

A brand name/mpdel or picture would help. Sucking sound with no water trickle sounds like a siphon action which means broken supply pipe.

http://www.deltafaucet.com/media/Pro...5RevA_46c7.pdf I would first close the main and remove the cartrdige to clean it. While the cartridge is out place a tightly held towel over the opening of the valve body and turn the main on and then off quickly. This should clear and debris and tell you if you have good pressure reaching the valve. Grease with plumbers grease or silcone jel before reinstalling.

No Joe it was meant for you, isn't this your faucet? The advice I gave since you have no water is pretty standard for all plugged facets like yours. Did I sent the wrong pics of your valve?

This is the bathtub faucet, I do have water coming out of it. My problem is when I turn on the shower. I believe the problem might be the diverter. When I pull down the diverter I have nothing at the shower head and water still coming out of the faucet. Sorry about the confusion.

    Joecinn...

Does my picture look like your tub spout?

If so then there are no adjustments and you will need to remove this tub spout (should rotate off counterclockwise) and bring it to a local plumbing supply house for replacement.

You will also need to pick up some plumber's grease and some teflon tape.

After removing the spout and getting the new spout I'm pretty sure you will need to remove the old adapter (under spout) and install new adapter and tub spout.

Here, you will use two wrenches or pliers to remove old adapter, apply teflon to threads and then apply the new adapter. Then you will add some plumber's grease to the o-ring at new adapter and spin new spout into place.

That should be all you need to do here. Basically, not to hard a job... honest!

Let me know if need more info...
