Boy oh boy, I am gone for a few days and all my lovely children are at each other.. now settle down, please. Momma C is still here and watching over you, so behave!

It took me a while to find that picture, Stringer, and will have to work on it to change the background a little so that it will look good in puzzle form. The dark background that it has now - well, I'll surprise you..
I have so much to catch up on, I see. Not only here, but also in my picture galleries. Got some nice ones of my family. I have not seen them in a long time and really enjoyed the visit.

My cousin Cherion (she was named after me, but my aunt didn't know whether there was an 'I' or a 'Y' in the name, so that's the only difference - we even have the same middle name - and NO I'm not telling you that one) and my daughter had so much catching up to do that they hardly had time to eat. I had to interrupt a few time to tell them to take a bite of their delicious Mexican food. I knew that Alexander was not going to let his mom finish once he was done.. so I had to make sure that she had a chance to eat a little.

My uncle loved the way I had the steak cooked - he usually orders 'well-done', but I talked him into letting the cook to 'his thing' and he loved it. His plate was clean when he was through eating. The kids (my cousin's) had tortillas filled with all kinds of stuff that they could make on their own, and I honestly don't know where Jonas put all the food he ate. He's so tall and skinny, I guess he fills his legs and then goes on. His metabulism is absolutely fantastic - a lot of people wish they could eat as much as he does and not put on a pound. Alina, her daughter, is the only one that has features from her father. She has darker skin, and dark eyes and hair. She was even born on her Dad's birthday - which I think is a double-gift for him. He couldn't make it due to being on duty at the hospital - that's what you get for being chief of surgery.. work, work, work.

Anyway, I took my laptop with me, and after lunch, we went to Jaime's and spend a few more hours catching up. I even let the kids play games - and I never let anyone ever touch my computers.. but they were such good kids and my 'inner being' said let them. They had so much fun. Aline liked the hidden object games and Jonas loved the Extreme Infinity (breakout) game and Big Kahunah Reef2. My cousin had to see what I had on there because she does not like shoot-em-up games. I never liked them either, so she had nothing to worry about. They also liked the Yatsee and different card games I have. They are going to have a very big collection when I download all my games on their PC - another project. Over 50 games will keep them busy - especially since most of them are in english - so they will have to brush up. Good training.

Alina plays flute - and already had her solo - won 1st Prize. I'm so proud of her. I introduced her to Candy Dulfer and Bonny James songs because I love Sax music.. she too liked them very much, so now I know who to give my Jaz CD collection to. I hope she advances to Sax.. absolutely think it's the most fantastic instrument and one can do so much with it. She's also into ballet and karate (what a mixture).

Jonas will get my AC/DC, Black Sabbath, Aerosmith and even my Lita Ford collection, I know he will like them a lot. Naturally Alexander will get all my movies and copies of all my CDs as I always make a backup of everything and keep the originals in a safe place so that they don't get scratched. He is into playing soccer and tennis - his trainer said he has a chance at being the next Boris Becker. He's tall and very athletic. I can't believe he's only 15 - his voice broke a while ago and it was so sweet talking to him on the phone trying not to laugh at the changes in his pitch.. When he hugged me, my cousin said she'd have to mark that on her calendar because he usually does not let anyone get that 'close' - puberty! So I feel honored.

And naturally, they dote on their grandfather. He's staying with them since his retirement and they keep him busy with music, computers, and even go out in the woods with him to cut wood for the fireplace. My aunt died of colon cancer and was only able to experience Jonas when he was Alexander's age. I told my cousin I now know how my aunt felt when presented with such a wonderful gift from her daughter. It's an experience that no mother should ever miss or take lightly.. you never know when it's taken away, so bask in the joy every chance you get. Oops, the faucet is starting to drip.

My grandson, although still in the 'following Mom all over the place phase', actually wanted to sit with me and told everybody 'my Ama'.. when he saw that the kids gave me a hug, he pushed them away and hugged me harder.. just to show them that he has 'property rights'. That just floored me. The next evening, when it was time for me to go home, he didn't want to go byebye in the car to take Ama home. He pointed to the couch and told me that I can go night, night there. It's amazing and heartwarming to know that he loves me and wants me to share more of his life with him. A little sad and frustrating that my body does not agree, but nonetheless one heck of a miracle to experience.

I figured out those 'special new features' on AMHD now.. the contact and friend part. It will take me a while to update mine.. but it had the people on my old 'buddy list' already on it, thank goodness. Now, I just had to work on it some more, I hope I remember all the wonderful friends I made on here - so if I forget anyone, please add yourselves to the list, and naturally, I will 'check' you off on there. It is a nice feature. Are there any other features that I missed?

So, folks, I hope I can last a little longer today and answer a 'few' emails too. I took a double dose of painkilling meds today and decided that I'd better get on here and update you. I have not read all the posts yet, but I will after sending this update, so I might interject in a few of your posts here too. Just had to take advantage of feeling a little better the next few hours and take care of some important things - and AMHD is first on my list.

I love you all and honestly missed you a lot, but fever and swollen joints didn't give me any other option but to sleep as much as possible to regain some of my old energy.

I showed my family all the wonderful postcards and gifts I've received so far and they just think it's so nice of you to show your appreciation and let me know you care. My cousin said that if only half of her 'friends' ever showed so much concern, she'd consider herself lucky. Did I tell you that I was her idol while she was growing up? She also looked like Claudia Schiffer (the model) - boy was I jealous of her there for a while, but she told me that I always looked like Barbie, so I guess that evens things out. She's only 8 years younger than me

OK, folks, that's enough for now. Don't want to bore you with too much, but thought you'd like to know about one of the most wonderful weekends I've had in years - and to keep my promise in letting you in on it.
Going to rest for a few hours now and get back and read all that I've missed while not online.

By the way, I also got my old smileys back! Don't know how, but thought I'd try and install again, and this time it worked. So, Momma C is back - smileys and all.

Now the only problem I see is that the Spell Checker is not functioning... let's get that fixed, PLEASE!

    Love you and C.U. later!

O.M.G! Just discovered another AMHD feature- the picture albums...
Ok, calm down, take a deep breath, Chery.. I know all my pictures will not fit on here, but gosh, this is COOL!

Just updated my Friends page - probably missed a few, but give me time to absorb all this new stuff and take this all in.

Still don't know what to do without my reliable spell checker, but maybe it was just an oversight. My wordpad and notepad do not spell-check (well since the Operating System is German, it checks German spelling, but not the English), so I'll find an online checker that will do the trick.

Momma C has a cure for some of your 'hoof-in-mouth' diseases lately, just gargle with salt water or use a little backing soda. That will do the trick - Starby, Stringer and Alty - you all will do just fine after a little gargle.

Next time I'm gone for a while, I will designate someone to keep an eye on you, and since you, my darling Friend (yes you) had so much fun sitting in the corner watching - you are the first on my designee list - that's what you get for laughing at your bruddies and sissies...

    Tsk,tsk,tsk...

Now, all of you, get on my lap so that I can rub your backs a bit and we'll all relax a little to some nice music.

    Where's my music girl?

Momma C, I'm so glad that you had such a wonderful time. Alex sure loves his Ama, that's the way it should be, and is. :)

I've been having a rough time lately, my get up and go got up and went, darn energy. I keep telling myself I'll get things done tomorrow, but tomorrow never comes.

I talked to my friend in California yesterday, he gave me a pep talk and a swift kick in the arse, exactly what I needed. He also told me that I spend way too much time on the puter, I have to agree.

Time to get back on track, got to get things done, go out and find a job, try and get my book published, start making furniture again, maybe write some more, paint some more, do everything some more.

Just thought I'd share, because I really haven't been myself in quite some time now, and yesterday was a large wake up call.

Love you all, especially you Momma C. Oh, please don't put Stringer in charge when you're gone, when I did that he stole my whip, I still haven't gotten it back. Besides, he'll put Starby and me in the corner until you get back. :(

M, if you're in charge, um, would you like some candy, a cake, a gift, nakie girl pictures? Let's cut a deal, I give you stuff, you let me get away with stuff. K? ;)

Alty my dear... NO deals! You need to take care of business and then kick in the intelligent adult I know you are. Friend (M) will not make deals, if he does, he knows that he will get a virtual kick from Momma C - and it will land so that he feels it for days.

Now, get to your book or find something to do from start to finish - even if you have to force yourself. I know it's hard to keep on track sometimes due to all the wonderful diversions available, but we have to also keep control of ourselves - that's important especially when setting goals that wind up rewarding when completed.

So, get to it girl, and I want to know once you've completed one of your planned projects.

    C.U. later

I know you can do it, so make me prouder than I already am.

Your music girl is here, and she gargled too! :D

I'm so happy to hear that you had such a great time with your family! I bet that, although tiring, was really what you needed. I'm just thrilled with all of the things that you shared with us, and all of the fun you had.

Little Alex loves his Oma (Ama) so much, and that must just give you the greatest feeling in the world! I'm glad you had a great time with Alina and Jonas, and all of the rest too! :) I love reading about the great times you are having, Barbie girl! ;)

The sax is absolutely one of my most fave instruments too Cher. I will find a good sax song for you! My postcards, and a little somthin somthin, are on their way. There are lots of them, and there are more to come. I also enlisted my sister Danielle, and you'll be receiving one from N. Carolina too! :) You may also get some from Florida, and my friend the truck driver is also picking up ones of his trips, so I hope you enjoy all of them!

Love you sweets! Hoping today is a good day for you!

    Big hugs and kisses!

Ps: Tell stwinger to stop pushing me into mud puddles!. he made me ruin my best dress! :(

Oh, I forgot to mention. I have been thinking, and you know what? I think I would like my puzzle pic to be one of you! I can look in the mirror and see me! I would like to have my Momma C's pic puzzle instead if that's okay with you! :D

Got to run for now! Talk to you soon!

No problem love. I will find one that I think you'll like. By the way, I used Oxyclean on your dress and it's find now. I'm sure Stringer didn't really mean it, but we girls can really get a guy's dander up sometimes, can't we? So, now everyone say you're sorry and we'll share some quality time laughing about this by the end of next week, I'm sure. This big family can't stay upset for too long - we all need each other. Let's all light a candle and send good vibes.

Thanks you so much for enlisting your friends to be the postcard 'squad', I can't wait to see them when they get here.

After Monday, I will work on the puzzles and I hope I don't miss anyone - if I do, let me know... Post here once you've received the ones designated for you all, please.

Going to log off now, been on for a few hours and my legs want to stretch, so until tomorrow, Night, Night.
