    Is it possible that a drain gives water into the neighbors garden?
    Our neighbor wants to put concrete where there is grass now. She dug holes next to our fence on her property, and has found that water fills up, she claims, at night in these holes she has dug on the other side of our fence. She thinks it is water that goes from our drain into her garden. Is that possible? Any suggestions on what to do? :mad:::rolleyes:

    If you are both below the water table, then its possible the holes she dug are filling up with ground water and not associated with your drains.

    Do you live quite close to a lake ?

    WE need m ore information. Are you on city sewer or a septic tank? Unless your neighbor uncovered a pipe leading from your house she's just guessing or does she have evidence that it comes from your house. Why would she think the water's coming from your place and not hers and why would any of your drainage be piped over to her property? Where do you live? In my area on the Gulf Coast you can dig down 4 or 5 feet and hit water. How about a leak in the water service. Any high water bills lately? Let's hear back from you. Tom
