    Storage of Possessions
How long do I have to legally store someone's things after they have told me they are coming to get them? I was told they were coming on Thursday the 18th of September. However, the things have been here for over a month.

Send them a certified letter, give them 30 days. You can't just dump the "stuff" without giving the owners written notice.

Darnit Judy, you beat me to it :)

But yes, you need to properly notify the owner(s) that their belongings will be disposed of if they chose not to retrieve them by a certain date. Sending the letter certified forces them to sign for it, which you can use as proof that they received proper notification of your intentions.
