Kitchen sink with dual handles and sprayer. Turn water on by turning handle and get no water from faucet but when you press the sprayer you get water. What is the problem and how do I fix this?

The first thing to check is the aerator, (see image) Unscrew the aerator and check the screens for trash or blockage. Now turn the water back on. Do you have pressure now? Be sure to replace the screens that same as they came out or the aerator won't work. Good luck, Tom

Did this happen all of a sudden over slowly over time? Do Tom's aerator check first, makes sense to start with simple stuff.

    Tom,
Thanks for your help. Sure enough, there was a piece of debris that was blocking the waterflow.
    Everything is working.
    Thanks again!
