I need answers to my issue that has tormented me the past almost 2 years.

I begin to feel something biting me on my legs and arms and eventually all over my body. At first I thought it may have been some sort of rash that occurred during yard work but it continued to rule my life. I've seen a total of 8 doctors including 3 dermatologists. Started with my doctor said it is some sort of allergy and I was given some cream to comfort my itching biting sensations. It didn't help! I tried with urgent care and was also given some cream and that did nothing. I went back to my PC doctor and at this time he suggests that I seek mental health profession :confused: I was shocked to hear that from him and he gave me a choice of some meds to calm my nerves down or refer me to a dermatologist. I chose to see the dermatologist.

The first I went to did not examine me like I expected and basically he looked at my skin and prescribed me again some cream to calm the sensations. I was very discouraged to have him brush me off like that. I went back to my PC for follow up and he was no help but to say that it is all in my head!:mad: why the heck would I want to imagine that and torture myself? What's worst is that I begin to notice there are some sort of infestation in my house and mostly my car! I see these little microscopic white dots sometimes brown all over the place. It worsen at night and I can not sleep due to this unexplained biting/crawling sensations all over me. More so, I begin to see the same thing on my 2.5 yo little girl and she is suffering! The strange thing is that anyone who gets near me will start to itch! I would go out to eat and anyone, doesn't matter who or where they sit they will itch. I once over heard the people sitting behind me say that I have body lice! I wish that was the case as all the doctors I saw said negative to all symptom as such, not scabies, lice, chiggers, etc. My wife is a register nurse and she thinks I am crazy like the other what so called "professionals" have suggested. I have been drained both mentally and physically from this unexplained biting/crawling sensations. I thought I try with another dermatologist as people at work see me suffer and one of the co-workers recommended the best dermatologist in town. I went to Dr. Baer and he takes a look at my problem and ordered me for light treatment for 12 weeks. It did help a little as the light toughen my skin but the problem did not go away. I see the symptoms worsen on my little girl also and have mentioned it to this doctor and his reply was that little kids rubs off their parents? I was shocked to hear that. Well after the light treatments which did not work for my problem the doctor told me that it is all in my head! I am delusional! Delusional? Why would I want that and not a million dollars? I took his diagnose and asked to be referred to someone else and asked for an apology if there is something going on and he referred me to the professor who opened the office he worked in. I visited the professor and pretty much NO HELP! Since I have lost my job, my wife left with my child and I don't know what to do :( I have cleaned my house, my garage, my car and it just reappears! I bombed the car over 6 times and nothing gets rid of these things.

They are in my house, my car, my garage and only active after dusk. They seem to like moisture and tend to surround my mouth, nose, eyes and ears. I feel it crawling on my head and when I shake or scratch it I can see these white dots sometimes white lint like c shaped things.

The closest match to my problems I found is on this website Bird Mite Nightmare! I cried when I read his story :(


Can someone please tell me what the heck it is? How to get rid of them? I want my life back! I miss my little girl dearly!

Is there any sign of biting on your skin? If something is biting you that causes itching or pain etc, it will leave marks. The red/swelling is the bodies reaction to it.

I do have signs of bites. Always in patterns of 3 dots in row or triangular. And the bite wounds would not heal all the way with darkening flaky skin and if I use my camera set on macro I can see something there but what I don't know :( it's driving me nuts!

Hmm.. thrips? mites? chiggars? (mite larvae)...

You know what.

When you see some of them, use some scotch (CLEAR) tape and get a sample. Find someone (an Entomologist) who can look at them and tell you what they are and how to get rid of them.

That will be my next step. I have contacted the Virginia Tech horticulture branch in my area and they suggested me to do the same. I have torn my house apart to clean hoping that will do the deed but these thing are also in all my clothes no matter how much I wash them or vacuums the house they don't go away! I just got some mothballs and crystals to try as I read on line some people did so to get rid of them. My best friend right now is a lint roller which I use to get them off me. I find them all over me mostly between my fingers, under my nails, knees and elbows, hair, eyebrows, ears and mouth. Even around my eyes and nose! And in my private areas. :mad: it's getting ridiculous. :eek:

You could try going to genniesalve.com Hope this could help you, It will stop itching, And hopefuly, It could stop them from breathing, And kill them.

Did you ever figure out what the cause was? I am going through this RIGHT NOW. I don't even want to be around my fam because I see them start itching. I scratch and find little black/brown/red dots under my nails and from them they seemingly spew out "sticky lint-like" something's... I don't know what is wrong with me. My hair, and even genitals and anywhere my hair lands begins to itch. Had a STD check and lice check, and I cleared it. Every doctor thinks Im nuts! I even diagnosed myself with hairworms, but There aren't any worms in my stool or urine.. I don't know. Im fustrated and desire desparately to be cured and goosebump free... Im freaked out so much so that I can only scratch and look under my fingernails all day like I'm OCD and it's now affecting the quality of my job... HELP ME PLEASE!!

Are you adhd? Taking adderall? I solved my problem once I started my medication of celexa... It took around a month for it to kick in but once it did, problem solved :)

I do have ADD and I am taking Adderall...
