    Above ground pool liner

    Hi,
We recently had a "professional" install our above ground pool liner. First, the pool itself after liner installation is bumpy and has peaks and valleys in it. He said that with the weight of the water this would "smooth out". Well, needless to say, that has not happened. Short of dumping all the water, is there any tool which could level and smooth the bottom of the pool. Plus, our pool is overlap and our previous pool seemed to have much more overlap on the outside than this one. If it has been cut too short, what next?
With the coping and fill of the pool will that be enough weight to keep it from pulling and thereby slipping?

Thanks for any answers you can provide.

Do not worry about the overlap, as long as there is any you're OK. The weight of the water will do the opposite of what he said, he did a bad job and hopes you won't raise a stink, I'd start right now. Call the outfit he works for and demand the job be done correctly. Most installers use a shop vac to suck the air out of the pool and pull the liner in evenly. Other like me just add a few gallons of water and then position the liner until centered and then add more water. Slowly the weight pulls the liner in as you feed more overlap down inside the pool.
