The hot water to ONLY my kitchen sink stopped working. When you move the handle over to the hot range now, the water pressure is very low and the water stays cold. This only happens to the kitchen sink which shares the same water heater as the rest of the condo. Could there be a hot water line blockage here? Also, I have detected no leak from under the sink.

Check the angle vlave under the sink if it is fully open, try to close it all te way and reopen it see if it works, what brand and model is your faucet is it single or two handle, Thanks.

It's an "American Standard" single lever faucet.

How can I check to see if there is an issue with the faucet itself? I turned the hot water valve on and off and nothing has changed.

Problem is more than likely in the faucet. But, to check the water line, turn off the stop(make sure you have zero water pressure out of faucet , so you know the stop is working) unhook supply line from the bottom of the faucet and bend it over( assuming its not a rigid supply) into a bucket. Then turn your stop on and see what kind of pressure you have. If your pressure seems good, then dissasemble faucet, clean and put back together.

In addition to the excellent MyGirlsDad77 advice above: kitchen faucet cartridges have very fine passages and get clogged easily. Turn water off below the sink. Remove handle and remove cartridge. Carefully inspect it for debris. Take it to another sink and run water through it backwards. You can also gently top it several times. Potential debris should get loose and fall out. Reinstall cartridge, and turn water back on. That should do.

How old is you faucet, and was it was working before? do this close the hot angle valve and check there should be no water coming, the valve still in close position crack loose the supply line at valve have a towel ready to catch the water open the angle valve and see if the water has a good flow, get back to me, Thanks.

Great advice mygirl, afaroo, and milo. It looks like a "fun" process. I turned off the hot water alone and nothing came out when I turned on hot, unlike the very low pressure on hot that I got before. I don't even know where to begin taking this apart. I am assuming I start with the securing brackets on the underside of the sink? If so, my back may have to wait until tomorrow. I have been stooping for hours working on other problem areas of the house.

Sounds like your stop is working. No, don't loosen your mounting brackets for the faucet. I would do as afaroo says, which is much simpler than what I suggested. Now, on the very top of your shut off, loosen the nut, or even take it off completely(with the stop turned off), Put a rag over top, turn on the stop, you will instantly know if there is more pressure.
