    Garnishment/levy bank account
    Have a garnishment from attorney. Partner in a small business. Court paper are in my name and business. I am married. In wa. State. If the business is not making a profit and I an not making wages how can they garnish me? Can they levy the business bank account? In my name and other partners name. They put lien on my home. Can they garnish my husbands wages? He is not included on the court papers. We are behind in our bills for the business and also my personal bills are slowly falling behind. Ant help would be greatly appreciated.

    Who got sued, to get a garnishment they had to get a judgement, was the judgement against you, or against the business or both, if both are listed on the judgement, then any of the business money or property is free game. If you are also listed personally, then all of your personal money is also fair game
