    Child Abandonment
I have full custody of my son and my ex-wife has court ordered, supervised visitation. She has not seen, spoken or supported her son in over 1 1/2 years. She has not followed the procedure for visitation. Can I file charges of child abandonment. I have a set of god parents who would take my son should I pass away. How can I make sure she doesn't get him and they do?

    Thank

Simple answer is you can't. What state are you in? Child abandonment is a criminal charge for the child being left at a mall alone or something of the like she left him with you so you can't press charges for that. Have you gone to court to establish an order for support? If not then you need to because she doesn't owe anything until then... if you already have the order then you need to go back to court to have it enforced.
