    How does a residential trust work in regards to ownership of property, tax liability when house is sold and inheritance tax affect on tax liability?

    Well, ALL those things you are asking about are FAMILY specific. All trusts aren't the same, just like all movies aren't the same.

    If you have a situation wherein these questions MATTER, HIRE a lawyer. Not only can HE answer your questions specifically for YOU and YOUR family - he can DO something about it.
