    3-4 Week old Puppies
How much sleep and walking on their own should small breed puppies between 3 and 4 weeks of age be doing?

At 4 weeks old puppies are usually exploring. Its very cute, you'll walk in the room and they might be barking in their baby voices at your shoe or something. They are a little shaky but that's how they build muscles and learn to walk and become strong sturdy puppies. Also, puppies know when they are sleepy and as long as your not waking them up when they are sleeping and giving them the opportunity to sleep they are getting enough. They do need to sleep a very good part of the day though. I hope this helps and enjoy your little puppies!! :D
