    Need to get ex fiancé off lease
    My ex has moved out and has been gone for at least a month. She didn't take her keys even though I offered. She also stole 400.00 of rent money and I almost got evicted.She never paid any bills or had a job. I'm afraid if her current situation doesn't work out she will try to come back and steal more from me. My landlord knows she doesn't live here anymore but they said they can't take her off the lease. This is in Ct. What do I do.

    Get her to sign a paper asking to be removed from lease, and see if landlord will then do a new lease with just your name on it. In addition, talk with landlord and ask what they will require for this to be done.
