Reminds me of a joke I heard once...

What's the difference between your wife and your dog...

The later you are coming home, the happier the dog is to see you :)

It was a dark, stormy, night.

The Marine was on his first assignment, and it was guard duty. A General stepped out taking his dog for a walk.

The nervous young Private snapped to attention, made a perfect salute, and snapped out "Sir, Good Evening, Sir!"

The General, out for some relaxation, returned the salute and said "Good evening soldier, nice night, isn't it?"

Well it wasn't a nice night, but the Private wasn't going to disagree with the General, so the he saluted again and replied "Sir, Yes Sir!"

The General continued, "You know there's something about a stormy night that I find soothing, it's really relaxing.Don't you agree?"

The Private didn't agree, but them the private was just a private, and responded "Sir, Yes Sir!"

The General, pointing at the dog, "This is a Golden Retriever, the best type of dog to train."

The Private glanced at the dog, saluted yet again and said"Sir, Yes Sir!"

The General continued "I got this dog for my wife."

The Private simply said "Good trade Sir!"

Let me sum it up in a few brief phrases:

    1 concussion
    10 stitches
    Playing Mom in the ER
    Broken bus
7 hours waiting in McDonalds for said bus to be fixed
Finding the ONLY McDonalds in the coutnry without wi-fi during said 7 hours of waiting
    17 soccer players
    2 hunky, hunky coaches
    And a brand new camera

    ... wow... what a weekend

Lol... They're both awesome. And, did I mention, hunky, hunky? But they still have my plate... ;)

Right now? I'm good being "solo HC"... but they definitely are fun to have upstairs!!

I've recently found out that guys can be flirts. I mean, real flirts. I've "known" that guys can be flirts, but just a head "known." I now have been burned. Crazy. (Not the coaches, another flirt. Sometimes I just don't get it... I've been singing "Build me up, Buttercup" for the entire wekend... )

Can someone please explain to me why, when people are told with lots of notice, to get out of Galveston TX, or there is a high probability of dying, that people laugh if off and then stay? Then they are angry when they are stuck on their roofs and helicopters aren't getting there fast enough to rescue them?
