Ok, I met this guy in college at a bar somewhere and we didn't hang out ever, but texted on and off for about 4 months always planning to meet up but never actually doing it. Then when we did start haning out we would mess around after going out and getting drunk together. I started to get annoyed because I wanted to actually hang out during the days and do normal things instead of just hooking up. Then I finally asked him what was going on because I'm not happy just being friends with benefits. He said he liked me he just didn't want a relationship because his last one ended bad.. (ugh).. so I said fine but I don't want to hook up anymore. But then I get drunk and do it anyway lol but now he hasn't talked to me in a long time because he says I never text him first and he is tired of doing it first. Should I just not worry about this guy because its obvious he just wants someone to mess around with? But I like him =(

If your at that point in your life maybe he's not the right guy for you,
Ending it sooner then later might help to make it easier.

Do what YOU want. Don't do what HE wants, don't waste time trying to guide or steer him... just do what YOU want.

If you want a hookup buddy and uncommitted fooling around with no ties or relationship... do that... with whomever.

If you want a relationship... start one. That means YOU stop hooking up. It doesn't matter what HE wants, if you're actively seeking a real relationship you do the things that lead to one. If you're seeking hookups, you do the things that lead to them.

Just pick. YOU pick. Then you act that way. The rest will follow. If this guy matches what YOU are doing, then great. If not, there you go... problem resolved.

Simple summary - stop thinking of HIM as you decide what you want. YOU decide what you want and then only act that way.

If you actually have feelings for him, then you shouldn't hook up with him just to be with him because that's the only time he wants to. However, if you are over him but are still attracted to him then mess around whenever you are drunk and horny! Just don't let yourself get too attached and take it too personal when he doesn't want to hang out with him. Or you can not hook up with him at all and be just friends.. even though you want more he doesn't have to know that but still Don't HOOK UP.. be like since you don't want a relationship, I don't want to lose you as a friend.. then maybe you guys can start to hang out as "friends" and go eat lunch together or go on motorcycle rides and stuff like that! Then who knows, maybe he won't be able to hold it back and want to be with you once your together a lot as friends!

He did ask me if I wanted to be the first to ride his new motorcycle which I was excited about.. doesnt that make you think that you would be special you know? Lol
