Hello 40, What brand of shower valve do you have? Is it single handle or two handle? It sounds like your water piping is under sized. Get back to us so we can try to come up with a solution. Thanks ----zeke----

This takes the problem awayfrom the shower valve and puts the focus on the supplies. Did this just start or has it always been a problem? Let us know, Tom

Hi to all ,thanks .I have a single handle and the name brand is price fpister.it was fine for the first 6 years and started last year. I thought it was only the city trying to conserved water but they said main water pressure is fine .so I decided to change my water pressure regulator.its brand new and its pressure is around 60 to 70 psi

Lets back that PRV down to about 45-50 psi for starters. It will not fix your problem, maybe make it worse but 45 is where it should be. Have you removed the shower head and cleaned it with CLR or the like.

What material are your pipes? Here's a one handled Price Fpister valve. Open it up and pull the cartridge. Clear the inlet ports on the cartridge,(see image) or simply replace it. Now turn on the water for a minute to flush out the supplies and open valve body. You should have a strong stream when you do. If not then let me know. Good luck, Tom

Master bath, separate shower has little to no hot water pressure. We have drained hot water heater for any clogged sediment and still nothing. House is 3 years old, what could be the problem? All other faucets in home are working fine.
