    Smell from flood in basement
I recently had a flood about a month ago and I cannot get rid of that flood odor.. How can I get rid of the smell coming from the basement? And also lately whenever it rains my basement seems to get water, which has never happened before.

I would mop down the basement with bleach to get rid of any mold or smelly bacteria that may be left.

Where does the water come up at? The floor drain or the cement floor? Is your storm water runoff connected to your sewer line? Regards, Tom

You could also rent an Ozone shock treatment machine that doses the home with a high concentration of Ozone that kills every living thing inclide bacteria and mold. Put the cat out first, maybe.
