Lifting ginite pool
We are renovating our gunite swimming pool,so the pool is empty. Now with all the heavy rain the pool have started to pop up out off ground. Luckily the pool haven't cracked,how can I fix it?:confused:

Your pool is trying to act like a little concrete boat and float in the ground water. Once you refill it there should be some settling back to where it once sat. Sadly, every hour it floods the wosre that settling will look, it may never be perefectly level/flat again. Some pools have removable plugs so you can drain them in the off season and avoid floating, do you see any?

We didn't have a drain in the pool and had to drill a hole in the pool last night. Must say I was very surprise to see all the water in the pool this morning. Thank you!

Has the pool started to settle back down yet? Do not remove that ground water that drained into the pool, its your boat anchor.

The pool lifted about 11inc. Unfortunately the pool did not settle back down,water still draining since last week and more raining is coming back. Thanks for all our help!

If you want the best resetlling now is the time. With the water at its highest you can drill a 1" hole in the center of the deepest part of the pool, this will allow ground water to enter the pool and to sink your little boat. The hole can be patched latter.
