Please Help, Anytime I Do Simple Housework ,yardwork, Or Walk, I Sweat Excessable. This Has Been Going On For About One Year. I Am 57 Years Old, Went Through My Mena Pause, Have Had No Periods For 5 Years. I Do Take Meds, That Started About 5 Years Ago For Depression. Lexapro, Litiham, Klonapin, And Mirapex For My Legs. Doctor Does Reg Blood Work For Thyroid And Med Levels. I Have Gained About 40 Pounds. Thank You For Your Help. Mary

Firstly, please turn off your caps, it makes your post very hard to read.

Now, then, have you been checked for diabetes?

The weight gain is most likely caused by the Lexapro, Litihium and Klonopin. Are your Lithium levels monitored closely?

Also, these symptoms can be caused by menopause alone.

We don't like to admit it, but we are getting older and not able to do what we used to do when we were 30... that combined with a large weight gain late in life will cause symptoms. You're out there gardening in the hot sun carrying all that extra weight around and your body had to regulate the inner temperature by perspiring... a lot.

Why don't you add a 2 mile walk a day to your gardening activities and discontinue all drinks(no caffeine or sugar) except water for a couple of months and see if your weight goes down. :)
