    Period lasting longer than usual
Well I'm only 19. I'll be 20 in a few months. Well I got my period on Friday and I usually go only 3-4 days on my period. It is now Wednesday and I am still on my period. It's still bleeding like I'm on the second day of my period. What could this be caused by and should I see a doctor? I am married and I am sexually active. Could you tell me what is going on??

You could just be having and "off" period. It happens once in a while when we get one that is longer than usual or one that is shorter than usual. I don't think it's anything to concern yourself over yet. If it goes on for two weeks or more you should check with your doctor.

Today is my 4th day on my 1st period and it is showing no signs of slowing down or stopping. Everybody I've asked says it starts slowing down around the 4th and 5th day but mine isn't! Am I OK??
