Right Biggie! So right, they learn to do many things when having to do what they don't want to;)

Thanks Biggie and Starty. I know I did the right thing, what's haunting me is, what if she really had a tummy ache? Darn this twenty twenty hindsight. :( I'm sure she's okay, her teacher is great and I'm sure she calmed Sydney down.

This parent stuff is tough. ;)

I'm more worried that she'll have another "accident" in her pants. I don't want her to be labelled the pee pee, or poo poo princess in school. Kids can be mean, and she's so sensitive.

She'll be okay, I know it, my head knows it, my heart's fighting with my head. Darn heart. ;)

Okay, cleaning time, I'm setting up Syd's bunkbed today, then I'm painting this weekend, finally. Pink, pink, pink, yup, pink. Somehow I think I won't be liking pink anymore once I'm done. ;)

    PINK! :)

    Happy Monday to everyone!

HC, still hanging in there?? Been thinking about you and hoping you are doing okay with the stuff-n-stuff! Sorry you got a sunburn... OUCH!! Feel better and stay strong... things will get better, easier, doable anyway!

Starty, have a good work day! Sweet story about your boys. That was too precious!

Biggie, hope school goes well today. It's a pain at times but will be worth it.

Alty, try not to worry too much! My heart breaks for you though. Crystal went through a hard time in first grade after weeks of doing just great and so happy then all of a sudden, "shy girl". I walked her to the class room one particular morning because she was upset and did not want to go to school. Her teacher was a caring and sensitive teacher so I knew she would look out for her (she knew she was going through a shy time) but I walked her to the classroom door, her teacher was right there, gave her a quick kiss and said, "Love you. See you later Baby!" She said "Ok" but as I turned to walk away, I heard her holler "MAMA!!!!!!!!!!!!" and out of the corner of my eye, saw her start to run after me and her teacher grabbed the hood of her little jacket. That was a hard thing to do to just keep walking but knew for her good I had to. She ended up loving school, made 4.0 was a cheerleader, held offices, honor classes, graduated from University and became a Physical Therapist and is on the brain injury trauma team. Loves life, still loves school and talks about going back to become a doctor at some point. I don't share this as bragging but just to give a little perspective that what you are feeling now won't be a permanent thing and your little girl will blossom and probably never even remember the shy days. She is a beautiful little girl inside and out and is probably surrounded by little friends from the time she gets to school until she leaves but all mama sees is the shy little one, and all our worries that go with that. We moved to another state when I was in third grade. Had loved school up until then. I have a real heart for the shy little ones as well as the "Mama's broken heart" but Alty, it will be okay. I bet she comes home today bubbly and sharing all about her fun day!! It's always hardest on us mom's!!

Thanks, Rebbie. I'm trying not to think about it. I'll be good until I get home. :)

Then, I'll hit the pool again... and add to my sunburn! :) lol.
