    Selling home during chapter 13 bankruptcy
    How do you sell your home during chapter 13 bankruptcy? Are there any penalties?

    IF you make a profit, that profit will be figured into your chapter 13 plan and will be used to pay some of the creditors.

    Other than that, there are no penalties.

    You will have to ask permission to see it from the court, the trustee will review and most likely allow it to be sold. But the money ( most of it anyway) will go to the court to be used towards the debts
