I am in the midddle of bankruptcy I would like to know if the courts can make me pay back my church tithes last year? And the goodwill items I took to goodwill last year? I lost my job last year and I had two storage buildings that was costing me $300.00 a month so I rented a uhaul and took it all to goodwill can they make me pay back the fair market value?

You have to list all items like that you had disposed of 6 months prior to your filing bankruptcy. What does your attorney say about those items? Church tithes are another topic completely. The items you took to Goodwill are in a different category. If the total amount of the items you took to Goodwill amounts to a LOT of money, you must disclose this to your attorney and let him decide how to handle this.
