2003 envoy xl
I have a 2003 envoy xl service engine light came on transmission is acting up took it to advance auto parts they say the code 9 1980 came up have to go to the dealer to find the code do u no what it is also transmission using oil has 68,000 miles

I'd double-check that if I were you because code "1980" doesn't exist.
When you say the transmission is using oil, do you mean that you have to add fluid frequently? Have you had a mechanic check the vehicle over to make sure there isn't any seepage from the pan gasket or other seals? |
