I am going to add a sub panel and wire my detached shop but have questions mainly about the neutral and ground connections.

What I have is a 200A main mounted adjacent to my meter loop on the pole, then a panel mounted on the exterior of my house with breakers for things such as furnace, AC... etc. Then the panel inside that protects all the outlets, lights etc...

Anyway, my plan was to install an 80 or 100A breaker in the Main panel on the pole and run 2-2-2-4 in conduit to a new panel in the detached shop (about 100' from the main). I know the two hots obviously go to the two lugs in the new sub-panel.

Please clarify for me.

1. The #4 ground from the Main panel will go to the added ground bar or neutral bar in the sub?
2. The #2 Neutral from the Main panel will go to the Neutral bar in the sub?
3. The grounds from the outlets & switches will go to the added ground bar in the sub?
4. The neutrals from the outlets & switches will go to the neutral bar in the sub?

2. The #2 Neutral from the Main panel will go to the Neutral bar in the sub? Yes. You DO NOT install the bond screw/strap.

3. The grounds from the outlets & switches will go to the added ground bar in the sub? Yes
4. The neutrals from the outlets & switches will go to the neutral bar in the sub? Yes

Don't forget you will also need at least one ground rod at the detached structure and metallic water piping systems must also be bonded.

Clarification for #2. Grounds and neutrals must remain isolated in any sub panel. Since you have a remote disconnect, it's very likely that your main panel is wired like a sub-panel and it has isolated grounds and neutrals.
