    Handicapped Parking
If you are legally handicapped and have a handicapped parking decal, is it legal for a landlord to tell you that the handicapped parking is reserved for one particular tenant?

Cities do it all the time, but they mark it as reserved for a particular permit. Don't know about landlords. Landlords do, say for instance, only one vehicle can be in front of the unit. All others must park "over there".

Something does seem amis because the landlord is not treating all handicapped people equally, but then not all handicapped people are the same. e.g. needing cane vs. wheelchair

Parking laws vary from jurisdiction to jurisdiction you need to check with your local law enforcement agency. Is the parking space public parking (on the street, then your landlord cannot designate who uses it)? Is the parking space on private property with public access (again the landlord cannot designated who uses it only)? Or is it private property (the local law will say if he can restrict it, my opinion it would be discrimination on his park and he need to mark another spot for your use and that spot for the person he is allow the use not the general handicap parking)?

Next question is: Is it wise to start a fight with the landlord?
