    The value of N
    Explain how to find the value for n in 163 + n = 292. How can I check my answer?

    you need to do the sae thing to one side of the eqation as the other, i.e to find 'n' you need to get rid of the 163 on its side, but if you get rid of it you have to get rid of 163 from the 292'sside as well. Then see if the value you got for n fints in by substituting it into the equation and that's how you check its right

    What number when added to 163 equals 292? You should be able to do that in your head.
