    What it is you are wanting to know ?

    In general it is merely insurance companies selling part of the risk, for example if you buy a 3 million dollar life insurance policy, form company A, they will go to a reinsurance company that buys part of that risk.

    The insurance company is merely insuring part of their over all risks.
