    Condensing unit fan stops compressor still runs?
    I have a Bryant 561C, about 7 years old. The Fan on the outside condensing unit would stop but the compressor would stay running. Tested the fan motor and it was drawing high amps. Replaced the fan motor but the unit will run for about 30 to 45 minutes. And the fan will stop but the compressor runs, the blower inside stays running. Turn the unit off 10 minutes. And the condensing unit operates the same but the length of time before the fan stops is less. The new fan motor made a great improvement. The amount of air being pulled through the condenser coil is like it should be but didn't fix the problem?

    When you replaced the motor did you also replace the motor capacitor with a new one sized for the new motor?
    If not get a new capacitor of the correct size and give it a try. That should take care of your problems.
