    Unexpected pregnancy and a smoker
    I'm pregnant just found out. I am about 4 weeks along. I am a smoker so this whole time I have been smoking. I was wondering if that would harm the baby. Thanks

    Try not to worry too much at this point, but certainly do what you can to stop or at the very least cut back. There are a number of programs that may help if you have trouble quitting on your own. Ask your doctor about it... one way may work better than another for you, so don't give up if it doesn't work well for you right away!

    I was a smoker all through my pregnancy with my girl
    I cut back from 20 to 10, the doctor told me it would cause stress for me if I just quit
    When knowing I couldn't just quit so I cut down - my little girl came out healthy and normal.
    This is all down to you though do what best for yourself I knew I couldn't quit even if iwas pregnant, but try to cut back maybe half of what you smoke a day.
    Also I found out I was pregnant at 6 weeks I was smoking and drinking I never knew but when I did I stopped the drink and cut back :)
