    F1 to H1
Hi, I am prasad... I came to US in jan 2008... I am doing MS... my questions are

    1. is there any particular qualities that my university should have(like approvals and accredetation), so that I can have get a petition for H1 through F1 quota by any employer?

    2. is there any specification that an university should have to make the student get his H1 in F1 quota?

3.I am asking these questions as my university does not have any accredettion, it just got
The SEVIS approval and BPPVE approval, so does this cause any problem when I apply for H1 through student quota?

Universities do not help with getting work visa but accreditated institutes are strong credentials.

The H1B visa is designed for those with "speciality occupations", which require a high degree of specialized knowledge. Generally at least the equivalent of a job-relevant 4-year US Bachelor's degree is required (this requirement can usually be met by having a 3-year degree and 3 years' relevant post-graduate experience).
