    Got outlet wet
    Git outdoor electric outlet wet, and it blew circuit. How do I correct this if circuit breaker doesn't rest it??

    Hello ayudame123

    First of all allow the outlet to dry. Than repair to make it impossible that it gets wet again (an outdoor socket should be waterproof to IP standards).
    Also : if it blew a circuit that indicates that something else is wrong too.
    Just being wet will not do that. So check what really caused the problem, and repair that.

    If getting it wet tripped the breaker then it sounds like a GFI breaker. Water alone will not trip a circuit breaker.

    What other receptacles are on this circuit.
