Why are we taught Adam and Eve were the first created?
Adam and Lilleth were the first people in Eden.Lilleth refused to lie down with Adam and leaped up into the heavens leaving Adam alone.Lilleth is now believed to be the one who corrupts our minds with sexual wants and desires.Eve was created after Lilleth. This was purposely left out of our Bibles.

From what all I looked up it says it is a myth.
Dark Mirrors of Heaven - Lilith

So I take it that it has not much more weight than mythological stories.

I do believe in the gap theory and that there is more to the Bible prior to the six day creation. Lilith would explain where Adam and Eve's sons got their wives a bit better than anybody has been able to explain.

Yes. To state some, many gospels from Mary, Phillip andThomas were removed.Bishop Alexander appealed to the Emperor of Constatine. This was known as the Nicene Creed, which ordered only certain gospels to be merged into what we now call the Bible. While other gospels were destroyed. A monastic order hid about 50 volumes at Nag Hammadi. 1600 years later the hidden gospels appeared. The gospel of Thomas taught that we all had the capability to be like Jesus.Thomas was personally taken aside by Christ. This was thought to be blasphemous and was removed. There was also the Apocrypha and the recently discovered gospel of Judas. The biggest one and the most important was also left out, the gospel of Jesus. Jesus was thought as being not the Son of God but just a mere man therefore it too was removed.

That makes just as much sense as a woman made from one of Adam's ribs.

I don't know about that Lilleth thing. It sure doesn't show up here!
    Isa 34:14-15
14 The wild beasts of the desert shall also meet with the jackals, and the wild goat shall bleat to its companion; also the night creature shall rest there, and find for herself a place of rest.
15 There the arrow snake shall make her nest and lay eggs and hatch, and gather them under her shadow; there also shall the hawks be gathered, every one with her mate.

Who taught you these things. My source is the Catholic Church and the references to the earliest canon of the Bible can be traced back almost 2000 years.

May we see the appeal by Bishop Alexander to Emperor Constantine.

    Sincerely,

Just for thought Maria. Does it make any sense to why Jesus would have been on this earth and gone through all that he did to save us, but didn't even have any words, thoughts or messages for us by him in His fathers book? I just could not believe that he preached to everyone back then but had nothing to write by his own hands for us. If I was going to want everyone to know the truth I would have made sure I wrote it, not rely on someone else to write what they believed for me.

This is precisely why we don't believe in Sola Scriptura. That is the idea that Jesus left the Bible as our sole authority.

Jesus established a Church in which He placed His authority to teach His Traditions and preach the message of Scripture. If He had written the New Testament, then people would have ignored the teaching of His Church and His Traditions and gone straight to His written message.

But written messages can be interpreted many different ways. Therefore Jesus put the authority to interpret His Teachings and to spread His Traditions in the Church. Much like the Founding Fathers of this nation put the authority to interpret the Constitution in the Supreme Court.

I just could not believe that he preached to everyone back then but had nothing to write by his own hands for us. If I was going to want everyone to know the truth I would have made sure I wrote it, not rely on someone else to write what they believed for me.
1 Corinthians 1 21 For seeing that in the wisdom of God the world, by wisdom, knew not God, it pleased God, by the foolishness of our preaching, to save them that believe.

    Sincerely,

    De Maria
