    Awww, poor Starby.

... caffeine is a wonderful thing!

I try to avoid that kind of thing by never going to bed before 10pm (usually not before 1am)... but then, by the time I go to bed I'm no longer tired and only have about 6 hours to sleep anyway... so I don't think my technique is any more effective.

Taaaannksss for the huggles! That reminded me of an old local cartoon we used to have here with a little fuzzy bear. I can't remember the name of it now. Yes, trying to sleep when I can't just gets me frustrated, and I know now to just get up, otherwise I'm really grumpy. If you ever see me giving a teen advice, that thinks she got pregnant wearing a snow suit, on top of a wet suit, on top of a chastity belt,---really B*tchy advice?. that just means I have been up all night again! LOLOL!

    G'nite Kal... or G'day I guess it is! ;)

Afternoon Starty pants, how's my favorite Starty doing?

I have butterflies in my tummy about tomorrow. I keep thinking I forgot something, even though everything is labelled and packed away in two little backpacks. The clothes are laid out, the batteries in the camera have been changed, the lunch supplies are ready. What did I forget? Oh, yeah, to breath, breathing is good. Why am I nervous, the kids aren't? ;)

I want tomorrow to be over, then maybe I can relax. By the way, what the heck are fat primary pencils, I couldn't find anything fitting that description. :(

Awww, that is funny, I just got the big bin of supplies and put every one that goes into the right kids back pak... awww, I know, I have till Wed and Thursday to feel worried. Get your camera out and a nice little note on their napkin in their lunch boxes, they will like that and you will know they are seeing you right in the middle of their day;)

You will be OK sweet Alty, don't you worry!

I know I'll be okay, I'm just worried, and the fact that they aren't worries me even more, does that make sense?

I'll take tons of pictures, and then post them tomorrow. They are wearing their new clothes, have their new backpacks and lunch bags and all their new school supplies, they're excited, I'm a wreck. ;)

I'm sure they'll be fine, it's me that I'm not so sure about. I'll need all your support tomorrow guys because I think I'll be nervous all day, until I pick them up. I hate this time of year. ;)

Starty, how do you do it with four, I can barely handle two.

For some reason, I get more teary eyed if they make a touch down or a basket in basketball. Or by the things they say, I know I don't get nervous, I just feel as if there is a new stage in our lives, and we take it on. I don't and never did cry when the kids went to school, I felt a little lonely and felt the "change" but we all made it through. I create the least drama as I can for these guys... me upset or sad isn't going to make things easier on me or them;)
You and them will be just fine!:):):)

I agree Starty, and I don't let them know that I'm nervous or a bit sad. When they're around I'm cheerful and excited about school starting. Now, my hubby knows, and he thinks it's funny that I've got butterflies in my tummy and I'm a bit nervous. It helps that he thinks it's all a bit ridiculous, and he also points out that I'm always like this around this time of year.

Tomorrow will be okay, I know it will, but until I'm in the car driving back from dropping them off, probably crying a few tears, I'll be nervous. Next week will be better. ;)

Start... remember I told you a long time ago that you remind me of my mother... well, she did the very same thing. She put a note in my lunch box everyday from first grade all the way through Jr High School...

Then, I was embarrassed when a friend saw a note, it was a simple "Remember that I love you always" and I insisted that she stop... what an a** I was... :(

Supplies packed, kids bathed and bedded down, lunch made and in the fridge, including snacks and a note. ;)

My tummy is doing flip flops, but both of them are just fine, excited, no nerves whatsoever. Who's kids are they anyway, I was always a wreck right before school started. Jeesh, carry them for 9 months, nurse them, change diapers, walk around all night like a zombie humming tunes when they're teething, all that and they don't even have the decency to be like me. ;)

    I don't think I'll sleep tonight. Where's Starby, I need a ducky fix. ;)
