That is usps.com tracking but the package has yet to arrive. I was wondering if you could get this notice without a package even being mailed. I bought this item on eBay.

Well, no.

What that means is that the USPS has been told to come pick up the package. Furthermore you can't track it. The mail doesn't update tracking info like UPS does. It will show when it was delivered (of course, after you have gotten it)

All you can tell is that it will ship soon,. well, that was the 23rd so I'm sure its on its way now and u will probably get it soon

Thank you. The only dispute I have with this certain shipment is that all of my other shipments sent usps did update prior to my receiving of the package. For example, it will say that X package has left its destination and is in delivery. This package does not say that and after 6 days you would think it would have said something by now.

The few times I have had the tracking number through usps I got no update. But It can't hurt to contact the seller and ask.

It depends on how the shipper sent the package. Some will provide frequent updates some only a delivered update,

This is an issue usps has... unlike UPS the usps doesn't update shipping information util the item is delivered.
