    HDTV audio jack not functioning
I recently purchased a 19" Toshiba HDTV to replace the 13" analog one in our bedroom. I am used to using a Radio Shack volume control pillow speaker that does not seem to be compatible with the new unit. It has an audio jack but when I plug it in nothing happens. The pillow speaker is a mono jack so I thought I might need an adapter to go from stereo down to mono. I tried that today and it didn't work either. Do I have a problem with the new TV or am I missing something? Thanks in advance for anyone's advice or suggestions.

May be a Menu item, output can be set to variable or fixed on many TV's.
