    Age concern
    We live in USA and moved here a long time ago,my girl friend she is almost 20 years old but when she moved to USA her date of birth was change and now she is 16 years old but that is not her actual age.

    We love each others but there is no physical relation so far ,but we are so much in love and I dot know what to do ,but as far as I know she is an adult because I know her actual age and she has the right to go out with me that what she like too.

    So we need advice in this concern.

    Sorry, you have to produce something that says she is the age of consent. Just saying there is an error with no proof is not good enough. You will have to go back and inquire at her country of origin to get her actual birth certificate. Surely, the reason it was changed in not necessary now.

    Yes, her family can contact the embassy of the other country and get the original birth certificate.

    But of course you may then also have an immigration issue if she lied about her age for some purpose to help become a citizen.
