How and where can I learn bushcraft.
Im lately starting to get even more intrigued in this thing called bushcraft or primitive survival techniques. I have always wanted to take up hiking and now that I have a job I am going to be able too. I just want to learn bushcraft so that I can take extended trips into the wild. It has always been something I wanted to do and I just wanted to know where I would learn the necessary skills to do so.

I studied bushcraft as a teenager and you can learn quite a lot of useful techniques from boox and the like but I discovered that a lot of it requires actually being out in the woods with a hands on approach especially when it comes to identification of edible plants, plus one tribe of aborigionals will use some assets of a plant or animal while another will cover a different area of usage. I know there's something called the outwardbounders which I THINK show a fair bit of bushcraft while giving one a RAAAAA sense of life(for a large quantity of money)

Yeah I was thinking of maybe a free program or books or like you said out in the woods with a knife a manual and a pack. Thanks...
