My boyfriend and I have been together for 2 and a half years. For approximately the first year and a half my boyfriend was constantly telling me I was pretty and holding me and cuddling me. We would talk about our future together and he seemed like he couldn't get enough time with me. Lately things have changed. He only tells me I'm beautiful when I ask how I look, we very rarely cuddle and he seems like he always wants to go out with the boys. He doesn't really talk about the future anymore although he still says things that tell me we'll be together in the future, like he makes plans with me and talks about going on holidays together. I know he's still loves me because he still says that to me all the time. I just want to know if anyone knows anything I can do to make my boyfriend want me and be crazy about me again. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

It could just be a communication mistake.

Us guys will say something once and think it sticks, especially when we're young. My wife has been patient with me and has helped me communicate better with her. I forget sometimes how much it means to her to hear my thoughts and feelings.

Help him feel comfortable and work on communicating how you feel and helping him talk about how he feels. Be careful about doing anything that could push or scare him away. But also be very clear about how important this is to you.

Many times I have not said “I love you” or “You are beautiful” because I was thinking she already knew I thought those things. I'm learning it can never be said too much. Work on finding safe ways to talk about both of your feelings.

It will help you both connect and fall even deeper in love.
