    Chromes disease
My little sister is 10, and we are afraid she might have chromes. In the last five months she has had diarrhea everyday. She has always been a little small for her age, but now reading about some of the symptons I'm really worried. She is supposed to be going to a pediatric GI doctor. However that won't be till next month. Here lately she has been having accidents at school. She had done this in years past at the first of school, but we just thought it was nerves and her not wanting to ask the teacher to go. Now she can't help it, and she just can't get to the bathroom. She only complains about pain is when she goes to the bathroom. There hasn't been any blood, and other than her using the bathroom a lot, she is always in a great mood and has a lot of energy. What are the long term complications and will she always have diarrhea? I would appreciate any answer.

I believe you mean CROHN'S disease.

Does your sister have any other problems? Does she take medications?

Sometimes this can happen when there is a bowel obstruction. Has that ever been mentioned?

I suffer from crohn's disease. It is when anywhere from mouth to anus becomes ulcerated, typically your bowel. As crohn's progresses you bleed from your anus and pass a lot of mucus and suffer a lot of faecal incontinence, another main symptom is losing weight and rheumatoid arthiritus. If after eating anything she loses control of her bowels, then it most probably is crohn's,but a colonoscopy can confirm that.also,it's a life long illness, medicines need to be taken for life and surgery doesn't help as it comes back after surgery.
