    My shower diverter isn't working
My shower diverter is only diverting a trickle of water from the tub faucet up to the shower head. How do I fix it?

If shower diverter is on the tub spout then it may be time to replace the tub spout.

Two different kinds... one that screws on (so yours would unscrew counterclockwise to remove) and one that has an allen screw that holds the tub spout in place (look at underside of spout to see if there is a recessed hole.. if so, need allen WRENCH that fits this to remove it).

Check out the pics. Below to see what I mean... the screw on one at the right below usually doesn't have the recessed hole.

These are available at all home supply stores. Remove yours, then replace and should be all set!

Let me know if need more info...

Shower diverter pull-up not working [ 2 Answers ]

I had my bathroom renovated a few months ago. I went to take a shower yesterday, pulled up the diverter and it didn't stay up. When I manually pulled the diverter up - the shower still didn't work. Only the bathtub works. Is there anything I can do to fix this myself? It's a new fixture.

Shower diverter not working [ 1 Answers ]

Water comes from both the shower head and the faucet. I thought that it was just a problem with the diverter on the faucet, so I bought a new one and installed it today (Danco adjustable tub spout with diverter 88434). No luck! It still comes from both the shower head and faucet. If I pull up...
