Hi everyone!! I have had this song stuck in my heead. I tried all I could to find it on itunes by guessing the artist and the title. Found nothing. All I have are some lyrics. I was wondering if anyone could help. It's a males voice. Think it's a band name not just a one person name and the song was probably somewhere in the mid to late 70's. Thought it was the little river band or ambrosia but nope wrong again!! So here are some of the lyrics... glad you can't hear me sing... lol... " as my head was spinnin round i gazed into your eyes and thought ooohhh i want you since then i never looked back its almost like livin a dream and oooohhhh i love you. thanks babe for bein and shinnin your light on life because ooohhh i need you. Okay so that's about all the lyrics I have.. the ones cycling through my head.. lol... the song is pretty much about a guy who's kind of messed up and mets this great girl and she straightens his life out. And I just can't figure it out and its driving me crazy... it's a mission to find out this song... lol... I thank anyone who can help me with this... thank you much!! :)

I'm sure the song you mean is called "I Love You" I can hear it in my head, but I can't think for the life of me who sings it. I believe it was another one hit wonder, as many of the artists were then. I'm pretty sure it was in the later 70's, or maybe very early 80's. You're right, it's not LRB or Ambrosia. I will probably wake up at 4am, and scream out the name of the artist, lol.

The final line of the song says... "and ooooooooo I love you" It abrutly ends there.

I sure found some other good 70's songs while searching though, because now I would like to find the song you like too. Well now we have two people that this is going to drive insane! ;) We have some pretty good music guys around here though. They will figure it out in no time. :)

Ahhhh... found it! It's the Climax Blues Band, and it IS called I Love You. (1980) Listening to it right now, and I remember every single word. Wow, flashback! :D

OMG!! Yes you are soooo right. The minute I read the bands name yep flashback!! Lol... thanks... I got the song now... why that was needed I don't really know... lol but it was just driving me sooo crazy.. but thanks again.. I'm sure ill have more?? 's for you in the future.
